I know what you’re thinking. You don’t ever say that. It’s just people that are lazy that say things like that, right? Well, unfortunately I think that many of us, even me sometimes, are too focused on the making-money aspect of the business that we forget what allows us to make money in the first place.

Unfortunately what we sometimes forget is that increasing our income is actually based on the quality and quantity of mlm training that we take and implement. I’m sometimes guilty of this too, so it’s okay to admit it. In fact, this is one of the key factors in the reason why many people quit a business and move to another.

They don’t even give it a chance.

Can you remember back to when you were a toddler? Learning to walk, talk, run, and even eat by yourself! The learning process didn’t happen overnight. In fact, many of these skills took us days, weeks, months and even years to master. Why didn’t we just give up? Well, of course we got constant encouragement from our parents, but also as a youngster, we were very eager to do what everyone around us was doing.

As we aged many of us developed defense mechanisms that allowed us to believe that it’s okay to quit if it will help us avoid pain. Unfortunately, these internal defense mechanisms that we developed over the years, actually work against us in the pursuit of wealth and success.

This is why so many people quit their mlm business before they even get started. In fact, there are constantly people out there telling themselves that if it doesn’t work in the next 60 days…they’re out!

This is NOT the way successful mlm leaders feel or think. And if you want to be successful in this industry, you need to start treating your business…like a serious business.

All of the successful people that I work with don’t question whether their business will work or not. They simply ask what do they need to do to succeed in this opportunity.

So what’s the difference?

Well, it’s really quite simple:

Unsuccessful people say: “I hope this is going to work to make me money”
Successful people say: “What do I need to do today to make sure this works to make me money”

Do you realize the difference?

I know you don’t want to put yourself in the category of “Unsuccessful People”, but do you ever catch yourself asking questions like that or making statements like that? Recently I had a business partner of mine ask me “How long will this take to start making money?” And my reply was simple: “I don’t know, you tell me.”

The reason why I said that to her was because I sincerely don’t know how long it will take HER to make money. I know what I’m doing everyday to earn income and grow my business, but she is the only one that truly knows what she’s doing each day to increase her income in her business.

If you can understand that your income is dependent 100% on what you are doing to grow your business, you are way ahead of the game. The mlm training that you take, the mentors that you choose, the company you work with are all important. But, the most crucial part of the entire picture is still and always will be YOU.

Make the most of your business, set aside all of your reservations and fears, and just GO FOR IT!
