Is your success in your MLM business being limited by the number of quality mlm leads that you have? Do you think it’s possible to grow your business without a regular source of leads? Are you succeeding with your current plan of attack?
Before you start expecting huge results in your mlm business, you should really examine what you are doing to create your success. If you feel that you are entitled to a certain level of success just based on the company’s products, compensation plan, or your sponsor’s success, maybe you need to re-evaluate your situation.
Let’s make a plan right now to build your business bigger than anything you’ve done before.
There are just a few things you need to master to become a big success in mlm. You need to become an expert at getting mlm leads, contacting those leads, sharing your business opportunity, and helping your new members do the same.
Please notice that the first on the above lists is become an expert at getting mlm leads. The main reason it’s first is that you obviously can’t complete any of the other steps of building an mlm business without first getting the leads. Your quality and quantity of leads will determine the level of success you have. If you come across anybody who says different here’s my advice. Stop listening to everything they say after they tell you that you don’t need lots of mlm leads for your business.
If you don’t believe me just check out what all the million and billion dollar companies are doing. They are advertising to generate prospects for their business. Copy that.
So let’s agree on one thing right now. Your success and growth in your mlm business correlates directly to your ability to get mlm leads to build your business with. I’m always surprised at all the great mlm training out there that completely ignores getting leads in the first place. You can be a master prospector, closer, and trainer, but if you have nobody to talk to, what good is it to you?
Your first job in your new mlm business is NOT to study the compensation plan. It’s NOT to learn the scientific formulation and natural ingredients in your products. It’s NOT to attend all the training available by the new company so you become an expert. These things are important – yes. However, the most important thing you should be doing when you start a new mlm business is locating mlm lead sources for your business.
If it took you 12 months to master, and I mean absolutely master getting mlm leads for your business, would it be worth it? If you did nothing else but learn how to get leads? No recruiting, no making money, no building a team, no residual income…just learning to get mlm leads for 12 whole months. Would it be worth it?
I think it is. In fact, I know it is. I’ve spoken to 100′s of struggling mlm junkies that jump from company to company looking for the silver bullet that will get them to finally achieve success in their mlm career. They lose money left and right. They can’t sponsor new members. They just join and waste time trying to build their mlm business. Many of them tell me stories about how they’ve been trying to build a mlm business for the last 8 years, or 5 years, and some even 15 years with no success.
Isn’t that the craziest thing you’ve ever heard? Trying to build an mlm business for years and years and never making any progress.
But here’s the problem and I’ve even had my upline talk to me this way. They say things like stop wasting your time with that internet stuff and just focus on recruiting new members and building your mlm business. The Internet is not going to build relationships with people, you’re wasting your time. I’ve also heard them say this to members in my downline. Focus on the business, focus on the business, focus on the business. If anyone tells you that it’s not a good idea to focus on getting mlm leads for your business, they are not looking out for your best interest.
Listen up UPLINE…getting mlm leads IS focusing on the business. If you have no leads you can’t sponsor. If you have truckloads of leads you can sponsor lots of new people. If you, and your upline, is too focused on short term gain, you will struggle and continue to struggle. You’ll jump from company to company and never have success anywhere.
But if you focus on getting some good quality internet marketing training and apply it for your business, you’ll be able to learn how to get a constant flow of daily leads for your business. And that’s where you’ll have really big results. If you have a set of new mlm leads being exposed to your business every day…you can’t help but to succeed.
So whether you organize a great deal to buy mlm leads, whether you generate them yourself online, whether you create a joint venture (JV) deal with someone to get leads, you need to focus on just that first. Your first step in every new business should be to figure out the best way to get new leads on a daily or weekly basis for your business.
Focus on getting leads first. Once you get the leads you can worry about the next step in the process of setting up new members.
