How To Sponsor a Top Internet Marketer Part 3

If you haven’t read Part 1 or Part 2 yet, go here to start at How To Sponsor a Top Internet Marketer Part 1 or How To Sponsor a Top Internet Marketer Part 2

Now that you know what Internet Marketers want and you’ve got their attention, let’s talk about how to get an Internet Marketer to join you in your mlm business. Because that’s really what this is all about right? You want to sponsor that top Internet Marketer to explode your current mlm business.

Step 1 is to make sure that you develop a relationship with them.

Let’s be honest, most successful Internet Marketers get 100′s of offers to work with them every single week. Yes, every single week. 100′s. So in order for you to stand out from the crowd and get them to join you in your business, they need to like you.

I’ve joined some, what I’d consider “average” businesses online because I liked the people I was working with. On the other hand, there have been a few really good opportunities that I’ve completely passed on because I didn’t get a good feeling from the potential business partners that were trying to partner with me.

Step 2 is to position the offer as a partnership – NOT as you enrolling them into your business.

Most internet marketers want to calculate how much money they are going to make for sending you some customers or leads. I’ve found most aren’t highly interested in the structure of the downlines…just the check amount. So when you’re talking to them, make sure you stay focused on what’s important – which is how you are going to turn their leads into money.

Step 3 is to offer to work FOR them. That’s right YOU work for them.

They are the one with the prospects. So ultimately they have the power to choose where to send those prospects. To most internet marketers the end business or product is not that important, as long as it’s not something completely stupid. I never join anything that’s not a good value to my members and subscribers. If it’s a vitamin or some type of online software, that isn’t as important as the fact that it’s just good value.

So, you need to make sure they understand that your #1 goal is to make them money and you understand that it’s okay if they make more money than you do in the partnership. Since they are the one with the list of customers, they deserve to make more anyway.

Step 4 is to explain to them how you will make them money with their leads.

They will want to know how you plan to sponsor their prospects. Are you putting them through a website, are you calling them, or are you having them call in to you? It’s important that you have a plan to build the business before you talk to the Internet Marketer because you’ll normally want to explain to them how you plan to enroll their leads.

The final key with this plan is that it’s important that it’s NOT brand new. You should have already demonstrated that you can have success enrolling people into your business using this method. And all you are going to be doing is increasing the volume with the leads that they give you.

A few extra things that you should consider when you’re trying to enroll a Top Internet Marketer are:

- consider it a partnership, not enrolling them in your downline
- can you give them a special position in your downline where you add value to what they do?
- why should they work with you instead of someone else?
- many Internet Marketers expect you to pay for their fee to join and monthly autoship (you will pay for the autoship, but you should ask them if they want to receive the product or not, sometimes they’ll want to use it)

This should help you get a good idea what to talk about and how to position yourself to enroll Top Internet Marketers into your mlm business. Next, we’ll finally talk about how to build and keep long term relationships with these Internet Marketers.
