Changing the way they prospect, train, and even changing network marketing companies allows them to re-invent their business when needed to continue to earn a high level of income while so many others are struggling.

When’s the last time you took a hard look in the mirror to decide if you need a shake-up in your life?

I’ve been blessed, as so many other top network marketers have to reap the rewards of our hard work in the network marketing industry. I’ve also seen the daily struggle that so many people go through to try to find themselves in an industry that is filled with rejection, failure, and quitters. So if you think you might need to re-invent yourself in this industry here’s a few things that you should consider right now.

Have you ever made money in network marketing?

If you have been in a network marketing opportunity longer than 6 months and haven’t yet made any money, you definitely need to have a hard look at what you’re doing. Network Marketing is a very easy industry to succeed in, however sometimes people (maybe you?) get caught up in doing the wrong activities. And of course the wrong activities lead to poor results, which leads to frustration and no money.

There are 2 main ways to deal with this problem. First, stop doing what you’re doing…because it’s not working. Get some training on how to generate leads, how to brand yourself, or how to sponsor new members. This can help you get out of your rut and into profit. Or second, just stop what you’re doing completely and join a new mentor with a new company. Sometimes all you might need is a completely fresh start. It’s okay to move companies, even million dollar earners do at times, as long as you don’t completely quit on your dreams of success in network marketing. Go for it, you can do it.

Did you make money years ago and are now struggling?

This is a very tough situation to swallow isn’t it. One minute you’re on top of the world and the next you’re faced with attrition, loss of sales, and a dwindling pay check. Again, I’ll give you 2 simple ways you can combat this problem and remember it’s up to you to follow through and pick one. First, get some fresh training on how to generate leads, how to brand yourself, or how to sponsor new members. No matter how experienced you get (notice I didn’t say old…oops), you can always benefit from new training and fresh ideas. There is no shame in learning from other successful people no matter what their background. If someone is having success in network marketing today, I want to learn how they’re doing it. Or second, you can re-discover what you did to get your success in the first place…get back to basics. At times we forget about all the hard work we put in when we first started building our network marketing business. It’s easy to get complacent and neglect the basics. Start doing the simple things again – get contacts and invite them to presentations. Growing your business is about showing your business…do you remember now? You need to get back at it.

If you think it’s just you that needs to shake things up a bit to succeed, it’s not. Everyone that’s on top needs to be constantly learning and at times completely re-inventing themselves or shifting the way they do business so that they can stay on top. This is the same in any business and network marketing is no different.
